EPL: Tottenham Thrash West Ham 4-1 as Kulusevski Shines and Kudus Sees Red

Tottenham Hotspur dominated local rivals West Ham United 4-1 in the Premier League, with Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-min starring. Mohammed Kudus' late red card compounded West Ham's woes.

Tottenham Hotspur delivered a stunning second-half performance to thrash West Ham United 4-1 in the Premier League. Mohammed Kudus opened the scoring for West Ham in the 18th minute, but Dejan Kulusevski equalized for Spurs in the 36th minute with a shot that hit both posts.

After the interval, Tottenham shifted gears, with Yves Bissouma putting them ahead in the 53rd minute. Son Heung-min then scored twice, including a deflected effort off Jean-Clair Todibo. Kudus' late sending-off for violent conduct, following a VAR review, capped a dismal afternoon for West Ham.

The victory exorcises Tottenham's demons after squandering a 2-0 lead at Brighton before the international break. Kulusevski's impressive form continued, scoring his second goal of the season. His influence and attacking midfielder role have made him a key player.

West Ham, meanwhile, struggled to adapt to Julen Lopetegui's approach. Their possession-based game was outgunned by Tottenham's press, and calamitous errors from the back cost them dearly. Kudus' red card, which will result in a three-match ban, compounds West Ham's troubles.
