After reuniting with Don Jazzy, D'Banj is revitalized and ready to make a comeback. He reflects on his pioneering international collaborations and now seeks to empower the new generation of artists, naming Ayra Starr, Rema, Ruger, and Don Jazzy as desired collaborators, embracing the philosophy that 'collaboration is the new competition'.

Music legend D'Banj has reconciled with his long-time friend and collaborator, Don Jazzy. This reunion has reignited D'Banj's creative spark, and he's now eager to make a comeback, embracing a new mindset and a fresh approach to his craft.

Reflecting on his groundbreaking international collaborations, D'Banj proudly acknowledges the impact he had on the industry. He recalls the success of “Mr Endowed” and how it paved the way for future generations of artists. With a sense of pride and accomplishment, he sees himself as a “proud father” to the new wave of talents.

Now, D'Banj is ready to pay it forward, seeking to collaborate with the likes of Ayra Starr, Rema, Ruger, and Don Jazzy. By doing so, he's embracing the philosophy that collaboration is the new competition.” This approach not only highlights his willingness to evolve but also demonstrates his commitment to nurturing and elevating the next generation of artists.

According to  Dbanj: “I am not the first [Nigerian artist] to have done an international collaboration. We were just the first to have done it the way we did it. Usually, when you want to do a collaboration with an international artist, it seemed before ours, like they were doing you a favour. But with the kind of grace that God gave us and the kind of team that we had, we were able to deliver one of the biggest ['Mr Endowed'].

“I think that actually gave hope and visibility to the kids [new artists] to know that they can do it. So, I feel like a very proud father if I may say. That's why I am a cat again [up-and-coming artist]. Now, I want to feature not even international artists but local artists. I want to feature Ayra Starr, Rema, Ruger and Don Jazzy. Collaboration is the new competition.”

As D'Banj embarks on this new chapter, fans and the music industry at large can expect exciting developments from the Koko Master. With his renewed energy and passion for collaboration, he's poised to make a significant impact once again, inspiring a new wave of creativity and innovation in the Nigerian music scene.
