Serie A: Atalanta to Offer Gasperini Contract Extension Beyond 2025
GIAN Piero Gasperini's current contract expires in June 2025, but Atalanta is expected to offer him a new long-term contract.
The club has already extended Gasperini's contract until the summer of 2025, but there are
talks to extend it even further.
Gasperini’s History with Atalanta
Gasperini has been in charge of Atalanta since 2016 and has led them to three straight Champions League berths.
Atalanta has become an established Champions League side and a Serie A top-four regular under Gasperini. In the 2019/2020 season, Atalanta finished just five points off the eventual champions, Juventus.
Scudetto Clause
Gasperini's contract reportedly contains a Scudetto-winning clause, which would reward him with €1 million in addition to his fixed €3 million salary if Atalanta wins Serie A.
