NIGERIA'S Super Falcons have earned a spot in the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.
Nigeria qualified for the Summer Olympics for the first time in sixteen years on Tuesday, April 9, defeating South Africa 1-0 overall in Pretoria.
The first leg of the qualifications took place in Abuja on Friday, April 5, with Rasheedat Ajibade scoring from the spot.
The Super Falcons' goal proved to be sufficient as the second leg tie in South Africa concluded in a draw, securing one of Africa's tickets to the women's football competition at the Paris Olympics.
