Air Peace Expands The Number Of Flights Between Lagos And London In Light To Increased Demand

The capacity on Air Peace's Lagos-London flights has increased, according to the Nigerian flag carrier.

The airline announced the news on Wednesday on its X page.

Air Peace started operating flights between Lagos and London on March 30.

The chief executive officer of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, stated that the airline had sold out seats for the Lagos-London flights until September 2 in an interview with Arise TV.

Air Peace did, however, announce on Wednesday that more seats had been added to accommodate the high demand for travel with the airline.

“Due to overwhelming demand and interest in our London route, we have decided to increase the capacity on the route,” stated Air Peace.

"This means that more seats are now available.

“Air Peace would like to thank the Nigerian population, both in Nigeria and in the United Kingdom, for their support.

“We do not take it for granted, and we will be doing our best to continue to make the whole country proud.”
Onyema stated on April 2 that the airline had to overcome both internal and external challenges in order to start operating flights between Lagos and London. The airline took seven years to reach this point.

Additionally, he claimed that all of the airlines “going to London from this place” are defrauding the nation.

People were paying five times as much for airfares as they should have been, according to Onyema.
