Dead Bodies Discovered In Abuja Apartment

THE bodies of an elderly couple, Adebola and Abiodun Ezekiel, were found in their home on Monday, April 1, in the Apo neighborhood of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Reports state that attackers broke through a window to get inside their house.

Adebola, who used a wheelchair, and his spouse were discovered with slashed throats, indicating a violent dagger attack.

The scene was found after one of the couple's sons asked a neighbor for help after being unable to contact his parents by phone.

When they got there, the door was locked, so they had to break in. They found the old couple inside, lying in a pool of blood.

Investigations have begun, according to Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson for the FCT police, who confirmed the occurrence.

This tragedy is identical to one that happened earlier in the year. On Tuesday, December 5, the decomposing body of Fecit Faith Banfa, a young businesswoman, was found in her Abuja residence.

Fearful neighbors, suspicious of an unpleasant stench coming from Banfa's place, broke into her flat and discovered her corpse.

There are theories regarding Banfa's death, including the possibility of poisoning.

After several unsuccessful attempts to get in touch with Banfa, friends had grown anxious and worried for her welfare.

The mystery is further compounded by the suspicious-looking soft drink bottle next to her body.

Banfa, who was well-known for her business endeavors, which included owning a posh spa and boutique, had just celebrated her birthday, which added sadness to the news of her untimely death.

Banfa's remains have been transferred to the morgue as investigations continue.
