Abure, Brother Leaves Hospital 2 Days After Arson Attack
TWO days after the LP chairman's home was destroyed by fire, Abure and his brother depart Abuja hospital
Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the Labour Party, and his brother have been released from the private hospital to which they were taken following the Wednesday, April 2, fire that destroyed his Abuja home.
Kennedy Ahanotu, the party's National Youth Leader, announced this, stating, “Yes, the national chairman has been discharged and asked to come back tomorrow for further check-up. He is hale and hearty and looked far better than when he was rushed to the hospital yesterday.”
Remember how the party's National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, stated that Abure's mansion was completely destroyed by fire in the wee hours of Wednesday, suggesting that the chairman was the target of an attempted assassination.
The Labour Party's National Working Committee (NWC) members concurred that even if Abure's orderlies took the appropriate action, it's possible that, upon his release from custody, he will need to report the incident to the police personally.
Ahanotu stated on Thursday, April 4, that Abure and his brother were in stable condition prior to their release from the hospital.
