Economic Hardship: Tinubu inherited dead economy — Ayo Fayose [VIDEO]
Tinubu took over a stagnant economy, he arrived during a very trying time, according to Fayose.
According to Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, President Bola Tinubu took over a “dead economy” from the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
This was said by Fayose during an interview on Sunday Politics on Channels Television.
He says that even though President Tinubu took over a “dead economy,” his efforts to address Nigeria's socioeconomic problems are admirable.
Attacking Buhari for “taking Nigeria backwards” Fayose urged President Tinubu to take more action and address the nation's problems.
He said, “Considering what Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of Nigeria inherited and our diversity, put all these together, the gentleman is trying.
“My advise to the President is: stay focus, remember that you gave your word to Nigerians to make this country better than you met it. Please stay focus. Don't be distracted.”
