BREAKING: Police Arrest Labour Party National Chairman [GALLERY]
Julius Abure, the national chairman of the Labour Party in Benin Edo state, has been taken into custody by the Nigerian Police.
On Wednesday, February 21, the LP chairman captured in Benin City, Edo State.
The Nigerian Police Command is said to have detained Julius Abure.
It is currently unclear what specifically led to his arrest, but it is generally accepted to have something to do with the party's ongoing internal strife.
Abure has come under fire after it was claimed that he had embezzled Party funds worth over N3 billion.
