Senators give N109 million from their December salaries to the Kaduna bombing victims



The victims of the drone accident in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna State, have received N109 million, the entire one-month salary of the 109 senators in the 10th Senate.


The Senate's Deputy President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, made this announcement on Sunday at the Kaduna Government House while leading a powerful delegation of senators to the state.


The state governor, Senator Uba Sani, welcomed the senators. Senator Barau stated that the funds would be sent to the state governor for subsequent distribution to the victims in a statement released by his Special Advisor for Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir.

The senators' donation of their December salaries was acknowledged by the governor.


The Senate delegation, which included Senators Michael Opayemi Bamidele, Chief Whip, Ali Ndume, Minority Leader, Abba Moro, Deputy Minority Leader, Kamorudeen Olarere, Abdulhamid Malam-Madori, Aliyu Ikra Bilbis, Ibrahim Bomoi, Ibrahim Lamido, Abdulaziz Yar'Adua, Victor Umeh, Muntari Dandutse, Lawal Usman, and Emmanuel Udende, also visited the victims at the Barau Dikko Hospital
