FG Plans To Purchase Cars For The Presidential Villa And The First Lady's Office For N6.9 Billion

The Office of the First Lady will get N1.5 billion of the nearly N6.9 billion that the Federal Government has budgeted for the purchase of vehicles for the State House.

According to reports, this is included in the N2.17 trillion Supplementary Budget that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu submitted to the National Assembly for approval.

According to a breakdown of the budget, N2.9 billion would go toward replacing the presidential residence's operational vehicles with new Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), and another N2.9 billion will buy new vehicles.

The State House would cost N28 billion, and the Presidential Air Fleet will cost N12.5 billion, according to government plans.
