Baby leopard on the hunt
Baby leopard on the hunt

On the prowl. spotting a nearby flock of guinea fowl. This baby leopard switched to stealth.

She stalked to the edge of the plain and then charged over the rim into the gulley below, using an inherent combination of prudence and wild speed.

Silence. She retracted her blow at the last second, having clearly concluded that they were out of reach. Failure in an ambush would merely make her presence known to all nearby prey. As a result, we can add an exceptional capacity to know her limitations to stealth, agility, and reckless speed.

Leopards make constant 3D assessments of their surroundings, balancing risks against rewards in hundreds of calculations each moment. Superb predators.
