The reason Damilola Adeparusi, aka Chef Dammy, disagreed with her pastor and the Spirit Word Mission has a brand-new justification.

The Spirit's spokesperson was Chef Dammy.

Cookathon for 120 hours for Word Mission.

Apparently, following the cookathon, Chef Dammy's freedom was revoked.

The church, which she hated, kept track of her phone and social media passwords.

A source from the church said, "She was restricted, as her phone and ATM card were with the organisers of the cook-a-thon. A lot of people couldn't reach her by phone calls and she couldn't reply her social media messages also. She personally told me that she wasn't enjoying herself anymore and that she wanted to go back to her previous life, where she had her freedom."

How Chef Dammy's issue first arose

Chef Dammy's church began planning for a second cookathon after the 120-hour cooking marathon, in which she would also serve as the poster chef.

She did not take this well because, according to sources, she was still feeling the effects of the earlier cookathon.

"Dammy didn't want to do another cook-a-thon as she was even yet to recover from the one she had just finished. Her family also immediately rejected that proposal, which got the church organisers angry.

Dammy's family complained to the Ekiti state government, after learning about the new cookathon,

The church was summoned, and she demanded the passwords to Dammy's phone and social media accounts. The problem between the chef and Pastor Jeremiah reportedly took a serious turn when Dammy transferred N700k to her family, making things worse.
