Clients Reject Patricia's Proposal To Convert Debt To Stock, And The Idea Is Protested

Actions by a cryptocurrency trading corporation in Nigeria. Patricia Technologies' request to convert the assets of its clients into stock in the business was denied.

Customers who spoke with Nairametrics claimed that although they had received the offer letter that Hanu Fejiro, the founder of Patricia, had signed, they had declined to sign it because doing so would have meant giving up their money.

They insisted on giving Patricia Coin their crypto assets that had been transferred without their permission.

Customers are accusing fraud and demanding the restoration of their original assets, despite the company's claims that its system was hacked earlier this year, resulting in the loss of around N2 billion in client assets and the conversion of the value of the customers' assets to its own generated token.

Some of the clients have already decided to stage a nonviolent protest in Lagos to demand their crypto assets.
