The Indigenous People of Biafra's enforced sit-at-home order in the South-East states, according to Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, has been lifted

At the COAS combined second and third quarters conference on Tuesday in Abuja, Lagbaja claimed that the scourge was eradicated as a result of increased efforts made by his men and cooperation with key stakeholders.

"Law-abiding citizens of the Region now go about their businesses and everyday life. Similarly, our joint efforts with various government agencies have quelled attempts by criminals to disrupt economic activities in the South West Region."

Boko Haram and other terrorist operations have been reduced, according to Lagbaja, who also noted that locals in the difficult states have started conducting business there.
