'I Now Just Charge $600,000 For Each Show' Davido
David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, a Nigerian musician, has disclosed that he now charges $600,000 (N466. 5 million) every performance. The multiple award winner added that only four gigs are accepted each month because not everyone can pay his charge.
The musician added that he seldom ever makes business decisions without consulting his staff first. During a conversation with Zahir Jooma, the other co-owner of the well-known jewelry company, he revealed this.
Davido, who bills in US dollars, claimed that if he performs at four events in a month, he will make between $2m and $3m. The performer said, "I mean, shows these days cost $600,000." It is less now. Actually. as fewer individuals can afford to pay. $2 million to $3 million if I perform four shows in one month.
