After his team's 2-0 victory over AC Milan in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal on Wednesday night at San Siro, Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana created history.

After AC Milan's victory, Onana became the first Inter Milan goalkeeper in UEFA Champions League history to record seven shutouts.

Recall that Inter defeated AC Milan thanks to two goals in the first half from Edin Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

I Nerazzurri acquired the Cameroonian international on a free transfer from Ajax last summer.

Onana has kept 18 clean sheets throughout that period, with seven of those coming in the Champions League - a club record, according to Squawka.

The article also noted that former Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar had six shutouts in 13 games when the Serie A powerhouses won the Champions League under Jose Mourinho in the 2009–10 campaign.
