SPEAKING ON BECOMING TINUBU'S CHIEF OF STAFF, EL-RUFAI
In response to rumors that he will replace Bola Tinubu as president-elect's chief of staff, Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai issued a statement.
After leaving government on May 29, El-Rufai declared he will not serve as Tinubu's chief of staff.
According to rumors, El-Rufai was one of the candidates being considered for the role of the president-elect's chief of staff because of his friendship with Tubu throughout the campaign.
El-Rufai asserted that he want to continue working in the private sector and support Nigeria's growth.
On Saturday, the governor gave a speech while opening the Gombe Geographic Information Systems service center.
El-Rufai also presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for 550 Shongo Homes and Gardens in Gombe State as part of the Family Homes Fund.
Speaking, El-rufai said: "I will be leaving in 22 days, but I will be available anytime you need a troublemaker.
