Older Brother Kills His Minor Sister After Mistaking Her Period Stains For An Affair

Mistakenly believing that his younger sister was sexually active due to her menstrual cycle, resulted in the older brother killing her

Charges were brought against a security guard who is currently thirty years old and accused of murdering his twelve-year-old sister on suspicions that she had sex with an unidentified party.

It was most probably just a miscommunication between siblings as per police sources since the girl reached menarche and her brother assumed something else.

Ulhasnagar police station's senior inspector Madhukar Kad reported that the girl was living with her brother aged thirty and his wife, but upon seeing blood stains on his sister's clothing, the brother accused her of having an affair and began to harass her.

Not knowing anything about menstruation, the child failed to explain herself when asked by her brother why there were blood stains.

In a statement given to India Times had claimed that she had an affair with someone. She was singed with tongs has led to serious burn injuries on different parts of the victim's body like the mouth and back, which is explained by the officer.

The minor victim reportedly underwent prolonged physical abuse involving kicking and punching over a span of 72 hours ultimately culminating in her death as stated by India Today news outlet, but despite that fact, there is a registered case for murder under Section 302 IPC.
