Kabir Yusuf, the new governor of Kano state, has directed the police and other agencies to seize state properties that Ganduje sold in less than a day

The newly elected governor also fired some of the government officials Abdullahi Ganduje had hired.

He immediately relieved Sheikh Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan and Muhammad Abba Danbatta of their responsibilities as the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board's Chairman and Executive Secretary, respectively, since he had no time to waste in enacting fundamental changes to the organization.

The State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board saw substantial changes as soon as he took office, and Sheikh Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan and Muhammad Abba Danbatta were swiftly ousted of their positions as chairman and executive secretary of the board, respectively.

Yusuf, also known as Abba Gida-Gida, has threatened to revive the murder investigation against Ado Doguwa, the leader of the House majority.

Recall that Musa Lawan, the state's former attorney general and commissioner of justice, said last week that the state government had decided to withdraw all charges brought against the House Leader for murder and arson.
