Actor Shoneye Olamilekan Is Suspended By AFRIMEK After Abusing A Female Coworker
Popular Nollywood Yoruba actor Shoneye Olamilekan, often known as Show, has been suspended by the African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK) for physically attacking Temidayo Morakinyo, a younger colleague.
This occurs shortly after the actress accused the actor on social media of physically assaulting her on a shoot.
Morakinyo detailed how the actor rushed her filming location in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Friday and battered her in a series of images on her Instagram account.
She said in her images that he struck her in the face and cracked her lip after she complained to her superiors on Thursday about his disruptive behavior.
However, Morakinyo noted that her family is demanding justice because the incident left her in misery.
In response, AFRIMEK disassociated itself from the actor and referred to his behavior as despicable in a letter that was signed by Femi Adebayo.
The letter reads: "Dear Temidayo, we received news of the mental, emotional, and physical assault meted out on you by a member of our club, Olamilekan Shoneye, popularly known as Show.
"His actions do not represent the identity [that] our club represents and [has] been known to project. He has been immediately sanctioned and placed on indefinite suspension, while further investigations by our disciplinary committee are ongoing to unravel the entire facts of the unfortunate incident.
