Presidential Tribunal: Action Alliance's Petition Against Tinubu Is Rejected By The Tribunal
The Action Alliance party's case to the Presidential Election case Court challenging Ahmed Bola Tinubu's election was denied.
After the petition was abruptly withdrawn by the party, Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani, the chairman of the five-judge Court of Appeal bench, dismissed it.
Chief Oba Maduabuchi, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has made the decision of his client to withdraw the petition public.
He said that he had received no opposition comments from Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and others.
Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN, who spoke on behalf of Tinubu, and Prince Lateef Fagbemi SAN, who spoke on behalf of the All Progressives Congress (APC), both verified the situation.
There being no challenges from any of the respondents, Justice Tsammani issued a succinct ruling dismissing the petition in its entirety.
As a result, the petition was the Court's first to be dismissed.
