LIGUE 1: MESSI'S REACTION TO WINNING THREE HONORS

Lionel Messi, forward for Paris Saint-Germain, has responded to collecting three IFFHS honors.

Messi won three awards: best player, best goalscorer, and best playmaker.

In response, the Argentina World Cup winner remarked in a Sunday Instagram post that receiving the accolades was an honor.

He wrote: "It is an honor to receive from the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) these three 2022 awards: IFFHS WORLD'S BEST PLAYER, IFFHS WORLD'S BEST PLAYMAKER, IFFHS WORLD'S BEST INTERNATIONAL GOAL SCORER. Thanks!!!"
