GOLDEN EAGLETS ARE ON THEIR WAY TO CONSTANTINE FOR THE 2023 U-17 AFCON
The Nigerian Golden Eaglets have landed in Constantine, Algeria, for final preparations for the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in 2023.
Nduka Ugbade's family relocated to Algeria after a planned trip to Germany was canceled due to issues with visa processing in the European country.
This weekend marks the start of the biennial competition in Algeria.
The two-time champions will open their campaign against Zambia next Monday at Constantine's Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui, which has a capacity of 22,000 people.
In their Group B games, the Golden Eaglets will also meet Morocco and South Africa.
The competition's top four teams will represent Africa at the FIFA U-17 World Cup finals later this year.
