CBN RESPONDS TO A SUPPOSED RECRUITMENT PORTAL

The Nigerian Central Bank, CBN, has replied to widespread news concerning its employment portal.

The rumor was disputed on Thursday by the Director of Corporate Communications, who described the alleged employment webpage as phony and baseless.

The central bank underlined that it is not conducting a public recruitment operation and will never request the BVN of prospective applicants or discriminate against those with physical limitations.

It warned Nigerians to be wary of fraudsters' actions.

"For the avoidance of doubt, the CBN is currently not carrying out any general recruitment exercise," he said.
