The drama took place at an Arise Television Townhall gathering on Sunday night.

After Melaye referred to his fans as "noisemakers," Obi lost his composure and interrupted the former governor of Anambra State's address with insulting comments and gesticulations.

In response, Obi said:"I won't take this. That colonel is an NNPP person, and you're saying it's Obi People. Dino, please stop that!

"I have taken enough from you here. Why are you always calling me?"

This occurs after the former senator representing Kogi West urged Nigerians not to vote for Obi.

Melaye emphasized that because the "Euphoria" surrounding Obi's candidacy was gradually "dying," Obi would not win in 2023.
