RESPECT MAN CITY, ARSENAL ARE TITLE CONTENDERS, SAYS ARTETA
After his team's 1-0 victory at Chelsea, Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, acknowledged that his team is in the title race.
However, the Spaniard expressed appreciation for Manchester City's accomplishments in English football.
Arteta has been cagey about the Gunners' chances of stealing the championship from City since the start of the season.
"We are competing for the title today, but tomorrow is difficult.
"Just look at the last six years what Manchester City have done. With the best manager and best team in the world, they've shown it consistently in every single competition.
Arteta said, "We have to be very, very respectful of that and we're getting much better as a team and competing much better and getting really good results but this is a long, long show."
Arsenal now is in second place with 34 points, two more than the champions.
