CHELSEA VS ARSENAL: AUBAMEYANG IS EAGER TO END THE GUNNERS' TITLE RUN
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a striker for Chelsea, has stated he is excited about the opportunity to thwart Arsenal's title bid.
The Gabon striker is getting ready to play against his former team for the first time since his contentious departure from the club.
Under Mikel Arteta, Aubameyang had one of his most productive periods in his career. But as soon as he agreed to a new, long-term contract, both his performance and his relationship with Arteta suffered. The former Borussia Dortmund hitman was consequently banned from the main team. Once his contract was finally ended, he was free to travel to Barcelona in January. He was transferred to Chelsea on deadline day after spending six months in Spain.
Aubameyang stated this ahead of Sunday's game Chelsea vs Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, "Yes, definitely a very exciting game and also because they are doing well at the moment."
