IFEANYI, DAVIDO'S KID, DROWNED AUTOPSY REVEALED
Davido, Ifeanyi and Chioma
Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of Davido and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, was found dead on Saturday after an autopsy indicated that he had drowned, according to the Lagos State Police Command.
In a conversation with our correspondent, the state police public relations officer Benjamin Hundeyin verified the development.
According to MON DIARIES, there were indications that the police might perform an autopsy to ascertain whether Ifeanyi drowned at his father's home in the Banana Island region of Lagos State.
The source then clarified by saying, "out of the eight domestic workers interrogated by the police in connection with Ifeanyi's death, the cook and nanny, whose job was to cater for the wellbeing of the three-year-old boy, had been detained for reasons including the failure to uphold the duty of care of the minor."
The nanny and cook were reportedly still in detention as of the time of filling this report.
It is standard procedure for the police to perform an autopsy in such a case, according to a reliable source who confirmed the development. The source added that the police would abandon the action if the deceased family members objected, though.
