TRANSFER: UEFA HAS AGREED TO LET RONALDO JOIN A CHAMPIONS LEAGUE CLUB IN JANUARY

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Manchester United forward, could join a club competing in the Champions League when the transfer window reopens in January.

In the summer, the 37-year-old attempted and failed to force a move away from the Red Devils.

Ronaldo has played in the Europa League for the first time in his senior career.

Ronaldo is rarely used by United manager Erik ten Hag in the Premier League and may try to move again during the winter transfer window.
