MAN ARRESTED FOR KILLING A BABY IN ADAMAWA STATE

During a brawl in Adamawa, a man was arrested for killing a baby and injuring its mother

Barnabas Abduneza, 40, has been arrested by Adamawa State police in connection with the murder of a baby.

Following credible information, the suspect, a resident of Kpasham village in Demsa LGA of the state, was apprehended on Thursday, September 29.

He was supposed to have attacked the deceased and her mother in Kadamti village, killing the baby and inflicting serious bodily harm on the mother.

SP Sulaiman Nguroje, the command's spokesperson, said in a statement on Saturday that the police had recovered a black face mask, some bows and arrows, and other dangerous weapons from the suspect.
