US VICE PRESIDENT, KAMALA HARRIS HOSTS OSINBAJO

VP Osinbajo meets with his US counterpart at the White House to discuss mutual interests. Harris praises the Federal Government's Energy Transition Plan, ETP, and VP Osinbajo's leadership, saying, "I have no doubt that they (ETP goals) would be achieved." Vice President Osinbajo also lauded the United States Inflation Reduction Act.

In recognition of his ongoing global advocacy on a just energy transition toward a 2060 net-zero emissions target, VP Kamal Harris says confidently to VP Prof Osinbajo, "when we look at the issue of the climate crisis, Mr Vice President, you have been an eternal leader on this issue."
