PRESIDENT BUHARI AND VICE PRESIDENT OSINBAJO BOTH LEAVE NIGERIA AT THE SAME TIME

President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo both left the country on Sunday, September 18, to attend separate events in the United States and the United Kingdom.

The president flew from Abuja to New York for ten days to attend the annual meeting of global leaders, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA77), while the vice president flew from Abuja to London to attend Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.

According to a presidential statement, Buhari will deliver an address on the second day of the General Debates on Wednesday, September 21, while Osinbajo will join other world leaders at the funeral service.
