POLICE APPREHENDED AN INFAMOUS MAN WHO USED JUJU TO DEFRAUD POS OPERATORS IN ANAMBRA STATE

Chisom Nweze, 26, was arrested on suspicion of using charms to defraud POS operators in Awka, Anambra State.

The suspect, who is armed with charms, is said to have cut plain white papers to the size of naira notes and given them to POS operators to deposit in an account. The operators only realize the alleged money is nothing more than paper after they have transferred their funds to accounts supplied by him.

DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, spokesperson for the Anambra State Police Command, confirmed the arrest.

In a press release, fraudtser stated that there are suspicions that Nweke is part of a syndicate and that efforts are being made to apprehend his colleagues.
