MY PARENTS WERE MURDERED FOR BLASPHEMY AGAINST PROPHET MUHAMMAD - ARRESTED SON

Munkaila Ahmadu, the man who murdered his parents in Jigawa state, told police that he did it as a form of Jihad.

Remember that Ahmadu allegedly used a wooden pestle to attack his father, Ahmad Muhammad, 70, the village head of Zarada-Sabuwa village, and his mother, Hauwa Ahmadu, 60, as well as Kailu Badugu, 65, and Hakalima Ahmadu, 50.

His parents were killed in the attack, while his neighbor Badugu and stepmother Hakalima were hospitalized. Hakalima has been discharged, but Badugu remains in critical condition.

Mr Ahmadu claimed he murdered his parents because they refused to accept the truth about Muhammad. Mr Ahmadu, a singer and member of the Tijjaniyya Islamic sect, claims his parents mocked him and called him insane because he was a praise singer for the prophet.

Mr Ahmadu stated in a video recorded in police custody and shared with journalists that he has no regrets for what he did because he was ordered to do so.

"They were killed because they refused to accept the truth about the prophet Muhammad" (S.W.A). I killed them because they abused the prophet, and their punishment is death; no one who abuses the Prophet is forgiven.
