ICE PRINCE WAS FINALLY CHARGED IN COURT FOR ALLEGEDLY KIDNAPPING A POLICE OFFICER

The Lagos State Police Command arraigned music artist Panshak Zamani, aka Ice Prince, on Friday for assaulting and kidnapping a police officer in the state's Lekki area.

According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, the music artist was driving to a destination in the state when a police patrol team in the area stopped him around 3 a.m. for driving without license plates.

The cops were said to have insisted on Ice Prince visiting the station, and after agreeing, one of them entered the vehicle.

Hundeyin stated in a tweet that the artiste then abducted the police officer, assaulted him, and threatened to throw him in the river.
