KWARA GOVERNOR PRAISES 8-YEAR-OLD BADMINTON CHAMPION AFTER CRITICIZING HIM [VIDEO]
The governor of Kwara State, Abdul Rahman Abdul Razaq, hailed Feranmi Adekunle Aguda, a badminton star, and Adeela Adedeji, an eight-year-old athlete who had won awards at several international sporting events.
Adeela previously expressed regret over not receiving congratulations from her governor in a popular video. While Adeela, 8, won a silver medal in the Africa Gymnastics Clubs Championships in Pretoria, South Africa, Feranmi, 16, represented Nigeria by winning four gold medals and one bronze at a badminton competition in Cameroon. The two celebrities are from the state of Kwara.

The Governor claimed in a statement on Saturday that the Kwara State government and people will always be happy to be associated with the two athletes for their extraordinary achievements and for adding their own medals to the state's long list of sports champions. We are very proud of Feranmi and tiny Adeela in Kwara for the honor they have brought to the region.
In a statement released by the governor's chief press secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor said, "I personally look forward to hosting them as a mark of respect for their excellence, hard work, and focus, and to encourage others to dream big in every good thing they venture into, especially their academics and other vocations.
