30-YR-OLD LADY ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY KILLING HER ESTRANGED HUSBAND IN KEBBI

A 30-year-old woman, Farida Abubakar, has been arrested by the police in Kebbi State for allegedly killing her estranged husband, Attahiru Ibrahim Zagga.

The deceased was a Magistrate judge with the Kebbi State judiciary, according to a statement released by SP Nafiu Abubakar, the command's spokeswoman, on Friday, August 26.

At around 11:40 p.m. on Thursday, police officers stationed at the Divisional Police Headquarters in Gwadangaji received word that Attahiru Ibrahim's gate was locked and that a suspicious noise was possibly coming from his home.

After receiving the information, a team of police officers rushed to the location and forcibly entered the home where they discovered the alleged Attahiru Ibrahim lying down in a pool of his own blood. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
