McDavid Makes History as Oilers Top Rangers 4-1

McDavid became the fastest player ever to hit 30 assists in a season, doing it in 15 games one faster than Wayne Gretzky.

He kept his point streak alive by netting his ninth goal of the year just 50 seconds in, blowing past the entire Rangers defense.

Evan Bouchard also entered the record books when he picked up his 18th assist of the season on Colton Dach's opening goal. His 26 points through 15 games are the third-most ever for a defenseman to start a season, trailing only Al MacInnis (27) with Detroit and Bobby Orr (30) with Boston.

Bouchard added his eighth goal of the season in the second period, with helpers from Leon Draisaitl (15) and McDavid (30).

Drysdale's Career Night Powers Flyers Past Mammoth 6-3

The victory was Philadelphia's first this season scoring more than three goals. Matvei Michkov opened it with his 10th of the year to make it 1-0, but Dmitri Simashev (3) answered for Utah less than two minutes later to even it.

Philadelphia then rattled off four straight goals spanning the second period into the start of the third, with Travis Konecny and Oliver Bonk both notching their first goals of the season.

Utah tried to rally with two consecutive power-play goals, but Cole Knuble (3) sealed it with an empty-netter.

Jamie Drysdale dished out three assists in the win, a single-game career high.
