Valencia have announced the dismissal of Carlos Corberan as head coach and Ron Gourlay as football CEO, alongside a restructure of their sporting division.

It’s total upheaval at Mestalla. Valencia sit bottom of La Liga with just one point from 15, having scored once and conceded 10, after Friday’s defeat to Sevilla.  

Sporting director Lisandro Isei, along with Hans Gillhaus, Andres Zamora, and Malek Shafei, will also depart the club.

The Spaniard took charge in December 2024 and pulled off a survival miracle after a stunning turnaround post-New Year. In 2024/25, Valencia were also in the hunt for Europe late on.

Mestalla coach Oscar Sanchez has been named interim manager in the meantime.
