Ryan O'Hearn made Pittsburgh Pirates history on Tuesday, becoming the first player in franchise history to drive in 10 runs in a single game. He did it with three home runs in the Pirates' 12-4 win over the Atlanta Braves.

O'Hearn reached the 10-RBI mark before the sixth inning was even over. He accounted for 10 of Pittsburgh's 12 runs on the night and finished with a career-high 13 total bases.

O'Hearn is batting .293 with an .851 OPS, 16 home runs, and 61 RBI in 77 games. Pittsburgh signed the 32-year-old to a two-year, $29 million deal in the offseason, and he’s been exactly what they needed.

He ranks second on the team in both home runs and RBI behind Brandon Lowe, who has 21 homers and 64 RBI. O'Hearn is also second to Nick Gonzales in average at .314, and second to Bryan Reynolds in OPS at .870.

The first baseman spent time on the 10-day injured list in May with a right quadriceps strain, but he’s come back without missing a beat.

The win gave Pittsburgh its third straight victory, matching Miami and Milwaukee for the longest current win streak in the National League. The Pirates improved to 47-45 overall and 6-4 in their last 10 games.
