Marquez stays with Ducati, MotoGP champ signs through 2028...
Reigning MotoGP champ Marc Marquez signed a new deal with Ducati through 2028, the Italian team announced Tuesday.
The 33-year-old Spaniard joined Ducati in 2024 and staged a huge comeback the following season. He clinched his seventh MotoGP title at the Japanese GP - his first since 2019.
The season started rough with a string of injuries, but Marquez quickly found his rhythm again. He hit his 100th career win across all classes with a dominant performance at the Hungarian GP in Balaton Park earlier this month, less than four weeks after shoulder and foot surgery.
He backed it up by taking the checkered flag at the Czech GP on Sunday.
