Cleveland overcame Toronto’s early surge to win 114-102, clinching the series 4-3 in a matchup where the home team won every game.

Backed by a dominant performance from Jarrett Allen, the Cavaliers secured their fifth consecutive Game 7 victory and beat the Raptors for the fourth time in four playoff series.

After falling behind by 10 early, Cleveland tied it 49-49 at halftime and opened the third quarter with a 9-0 run.

The Cavs outscored Toronto 38-19 in the third, with Allen scoring 14 of his 22 points and grabbing 10 of his 19 rebounds in that quarter alone.

“I just wanted to show my teammates that we can win this game,” said Allen, who added two steals and three blocked shots.

Allen’s control of the glass gave Cleveland a 60-33 advantage on rebounds.

“Energy and effort, that's what I believe wins games,” Allen said. “If you do it on the defensive end, everything translates to the offense.”

“Every single possession, it means a lot,” he added of the game-seven intensity. “Every single possession means it could be the end of the season.”

Donovan Mitchell also scored 22 for the Cavs and walked away fine after an all-out dive for the ball sent him into the third row of Rocket Arena seats early in the third.

Veteran James Harden contributed 18 points.

Scottie Barnes paced Toronto with 24 points, but foul trouble forced him to the bench for long stretches and hurt the Raptors’ ability to respond after halftime.
