Victor Wembanyama poured in 33 points as the San Antonio Spurs crushed Oklahoma City 103-82 on Sunday, tying the NBA Western Conference finals at 2-2.
The 22-year-old French center, 7-foot-4, shot 11-of-22 from the field and 3-of-7 from three. He also finished with eight rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and two steals in 31 minutes.
San Antonio evened the best-of-seven series with the win. Game 5 is Tuesday in Oklahoma City, and Game 6 returns to San Antonio on Thursday.

The Spurs are chasing their first NBA Finals appearance since winning the title in 2014. Oklahoma City is aiming to become the league’s first back-to-back champions since Golden State in 2017-2018.
San Antonio tied the series 2-2 with the win. Game 5 will be played Tuesday in Oklahoma City, and Game 6 returns to San Antonio on Thursday.
The Spurs are looking for their first trip to the NBA Finals since winning the championship in 2014. The Thunder are trying to become the first team since Golden State in 2017-2018 to win consecutive titles.

Oklahoma City had not lost on the road in this year’s playoffs, but the Spurs ended their bid for a 6-0 road record with a strong defensive performance.
“We were not surprised,” said Wembanyama, who credited the Spurs' domination to watching “a lot of film, pretty much, the last 24 to 48 hours.”
San Antonio built the lead to as much as 25 points, while Oklahoma City’s largest advantage was just one point.
NBA Most Valuable Player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander paced the Thunder with 19 points.
Oklahoma City finished the regular season with an NBA-best 64 wins, while San Antonio was second with 62 victories.
Wembanyama hit a half-court shot at the buzzer for the longest made basket of his career, giving the Spurs a 50-38 halftime lead. The NBA Defensive Player of the Year had 22 points by the break.
“We needed that momentum going into the second half,” San Antonio's Devin Vassell said.
Wemby scored six of his 11 first-quarter points during a 16-0 Spurs run that put San Antonio up 23-8 early.

The Spurs opened the third quarter with a 15-5 run to extend their lead to 65-43, their largest of the game. Oklahoma City could not close the gap after that.
