FC Porto have made Jakub Kiwior’s move permanent after exercising the option to buy him from Arsenal at the end of his loan.
The Polish centre-back made a solid impact during his time at the club, featuring 38 times and amassing over 3,000 minutes of action in all competitions.
“FC Porto has triggered the purchase option included in the loan agreement signed with Arsenal FC and will now definitively hold the sporting registration rights and 100% of the economic rights of Jakub Kiwior for a fixed fee of €17 million, plus a variable component that may reach €5 million, subject to the achievement of certain objectives,” the Portuguese side confirmed.

Kiwior arrived initially on a £1.7 million loan but has now committed his long-term future to Porto after playing a key role in their league title success, adding two assists from the backline.
The club has confirmed he’s signed a deal that runs through June 2030 and includes a €70 million release clause to protect their investment.
