Qualifier Dino Prizmic beat Humbert to reach the fourth round in Rome, while Zverev and home favorite Musetti also advanced on Sunday.
Second seed Alexander Zverev moved into the Italian Open last 16 with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Alexander Blockx, staying on course for a third Rome title...
Dino Prizmic kept his impressive Italian Open run going on Sunday, taking down France’s Ugo Humbert 6-1, 7-5 to book a spot in the last 16 in Rome. The win comes days after he eliminated Novak Djokovic from the tournament.
The Croatian had to come through qualifying to make the main draw, but he’s looking like a genuine threat on clay after another display of power and accuracy.
Prizmic jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the opening set and wrapped it up in 28 minutes, leaving 31st seed Humbert stunned.

He was so in control early that he even attempted a between-the-legs shot in game six, giving up the point without it costing him the set.
Humbert mounted a fightback in the second set, but after being broken for a third time in the 11th game, Prizmic sealed the match on his second match point.
Following his standout win on Pietrangeli Court, Prizmic will next face either Karen Khachanov or Botic van de Zandschulp.
Alexander Zverev stayed on track for a third Rome title, dispatching Alexander Blockx 6-1, 6-4 in straight sets on Centre Court.

Zverev, the No. 2 seed, suffered a heavy defeat to Jannik Sinner in last week’s Madrid final. He’ll now meet either Tommy Paul or Italy’s Luciano Darderi in the fourth round in Rome.
Home favorite Lorenzo Musetti claims an epic opener over Cerundolo, saves two set points before taking it 7-6(7) on Centre Court against the 8th seed Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo.
More to come...
