FC Midtjylland’s Aral Simsir Wins 3F Superliga Player of the Year Award

The FC Midtjylland winger has picked up multiple awards this season, and now adds the league’s top individual prize.
On Saturday afternoon, the Danish Superliga announced that Simsir had won the honor ahead of fellow nominees Franculino, Gift Links, Tobias Bech, Patrick Pentz, Tonni Adamsen, Thomas Jorgensen, and Caleb Yirenkyi.
The 23-year-old has netted nine goals and set up 15 more in the league this season.
One more assist in Sunday’s home match against Brondby IF would see Simsir break the Superliga record.

He’s tied to Midtjylland until summer 2029, but has said multiple times he expects to leave the club at the end of this season.
In 144 appearances for the Wolves, Simsir has scored 26 goals and provided 40 assists.
