Halmstad, the only side below Goteborg in the table, also lost at home to Brommapojkarna.
Djurgarden end winless run in emphatic style as Goteborg collapse to season-low defeat
Djurgarden had endured a frustrating spell, losing two close games and drawing the derby with Hammarby despite dominating for long stretches. They channeled that frustration into a 6-0 rout of an IFK Goteborg side still searching for its first win.
Jeppe Okkels opened the scoring in the 15th minute, turning sharply in the box to create space and finishing well. Patric Aslund made it 2-0 a quarter of an hour later, and Kristian Lien kept up his form from last week by heading in Piotr Johansson’s cross three minutes after that.

Djurgarden waited until just after the hour mark for a fourth. Bo Hegland capped a strong run with his second assist, sliding the ball across for Aslund to slam home his second at the near post.
Joel Asoro came on for the last 10 minutes and scored twice to finish the rout. He shrugged off the defender to make it 5-0, then headed in Hegland’s left-wing cross in the 90th minute to give the midfielder a hat-trick of assists.
The win moves Djurgarden to 10 points, six behind leaders Sirius. Goteborg stay 15th on three points, and pressure on manager Stefan Billborn will only grow.
Brommapojkarna keep Halmstad winless with second straight road victory
Halmstad remain stuck at the bottom with two points from six games after losing to Brommapojkarna, who made it two away wins in a row.
Sion Oppong broke the deadlock just before the hour, cutting in from the left and seeing his low strike deflect in from the edge of the area.

Mads Hansen set up Kaare Barslund to make it 2-0 just over 10 minutes later, then added a third himself eight minutes from time to seal the points for the visitors.
Hansen’s impact mattered even as he was sent off in added time for a second yellow. That came two minutes after Leo Cavallius’s own goal gave Halmstad a late consolation, but neither moment changed the outcome of Bromma Boys’ second win in three.
