Top seed Marta Kostyuk won an all-Ukrainian final for the WTA title in Rouen on Sunday, beating Veronika Podrez in straight sets.
The 23-year-old took it 6-3, 6-4 in the first WTA final contested by two Ukrainian players.
She follows countrywoman Elina Svitolina, who won in Rouen last year as the top seed.

For 19-year-old qualifier Podrez, ranked 209th in the world, it was a first final on her main-draw debut at a tour-level event.
Both Kostyuk and Podrez had issues on serve in the indoor clay final, combining for 12 double faults.
Kostyuk was more clinical, converting six of her nine break points while Podrez took four of seven in a match that lasted 1hr 12min.

It’s Kostyuk’s second WTA singles title and her first in more than three years, since winning in Austin, Texas, in 2023.
