Barcelona, Juve, Benfica circle Silva, PSG now enter race for City star...

Paris Saint-Germain have emerged as the latest club weighing a move for Bernardo Silva at the end of the season, sources say.

The player hasn’t made a formal decision yet, and Pep Guardiola has said he’d “love” for him to stay and end his career at the Etihad Stadium.

Still, Barcelona, Juventus, and Benfica are already among the leading clubs showing interest in signing him, and PSG are understood to be monitoring his situation as well.

Silva has been in top form this season, showing the consistency and quality that have helped drive City back into the Premier League title race.

The chance to land a free agent playing at that level is a big draw, which is why top clubs are now lining up offers for the Portugal international.

Silva, 31, is taking his time to evaluate his options and stays fully focused on City’s campaign for now.

It’s understood Barcelona, Benfica, and Juve have made initial contact to get a feel for his motivations at this point in his career, along with his expectations around personal terms.

Interest from those three clubs is well established, and Silva himself is thought to be intrigued by the range of options he’ll have to pick from.

But PSG are also believed to be watching the situation closely, having tracked him in the past, and their involvement could add a new wrinkle to his decision if they ramp up their interest.

The pace and style of French football could suit him at this stage of his career and still give him a chance to keep collecting trophies.

Silva has played in Ligue 1 before, with Monaco prior to his 2017 move to Man City. He’s expected to announce a decision on his future at the end of the season.
